Daycare for Children With G-Tubes & NG Tubes
We provide prescribed pediatric extended care (PPEC) and medical day care for children with g-tubes and nasogastric (NG) tubes including daily monitoring from our skilled nursing team, feedings, cleaning and dressing, tracheostomy care, medication, flushing, and maintenance. Gastrostomy tubes are surgically placed in children with medical conditions that prevent them from eating or swallowing; these devices allow medically complex children to receive supplemental feeding, medication, nutrition, and hydration.
Our PPEC facility prides itself on providing the highest level of quality, cleanliness, and support available. We believe in improving the lives of special needs children through therapy, emotional support, recreational activities, family education, and creating a safe environment where children can have fun and thrive. We are passionate about making a difference in the lives of medically fragile children through our Melbourne PPEC, Lakeland PPEC, Orlando PPEC and Haines City PPEC services.

Skilled Nursing & Transportation for Kids With G-Tubes & NG Tubes
G-tubes and NG Tubes can cause uncomfortable symptoms such as pain or swelling around the incision site, shortness of breath, vomiting, and infection. They can also become blocked or clogged, dislodged, or start leaking. We provide medical supervision and assist patients with self-care, tube placement, cleaning, and maintenance to ensure the highest level of comfort and recovery. Our additional services include physical therapy (OT), occupational therapy (OT), and speech therapy (ST).
We also offer non-emergency medical transport for special needs children in our care – we’ll pick your child up and drop them off at home, school, doctor’s appointments, and any of our transportation checkpoints. We understand that some families may not have the time or resources to provide daily rides to PPEC; we implemented our medical transport program to ensure that every special needs child has access to our facility. Call us or submit a contact form request to learn more about what we offer. We can’t wait to meet your family!
