Medical Daycare for Children with Epilepsy
Medical daycare for children with epilepsy is ideal for pediatric patients with physical and cognitive symptoms that negatively impact day-to-day activities. The main symptom of epilepsy is seizures in which the child experiences uncontrollable jerking of the body, loss of awareness or consciousness, and intense fear or anxiety. Depending on the type of seizure, other symptoms can occur including loss of muscle or bladder control and severe biting of the tongue.
Angels on Earth seeks to provide quality medical care and support for children with epilepsy including mental health therapy, monitoring and prevention of seizure triggers, medications, nerve stimulation, and dietary measurements. Our PPEC facility is open for care 12 hours per day, 6 days per week. We are fully staffed with multi-lingual skilled nursing professionals who have long-term experience in daily care for special needs children. The children at our center are more than patients – they’re family.

Pediatric Epilepsy Daycare & Medical Transport
In addition to our pediatric epilepsy day care program, we also provide non-emergency medical transport for special needs patients. It can be difficult for parents to arrange daily transportation in the midst of other responsibilities; that’s why we provide pickup and drop-off to and from home, school, doctor’s appointments, and any of our transportation checkpoints. Angels on Earth offers various developmental therapies including physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy to help patients overcome physical and cognitive struggles that hinder daily life.
We also provide educational programs and recreational activities as we believe that fun, connection, and social support are just as important as medical care. Our PPEC services are available to patients with certain conditions, physical limitations, and special needs. Contact our Melbourne PPEC, Lakeland PPEC, Orlando PPEC or Haines City PPEC to learn more – we look forward to meeting your little one and developing a personalized care plan to help them achieve a happier, healthier life!
