Medical Daycare for Children With Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
Pediatric autism spectrum disorder (ASD) affects communication, speech, and behavioral development in children. Symptoms include lack of eye contact, hyper-focused interests, and difficulties with social processing. Angels on Earth provides prescribed pediatric extended care (PPEC) and developmental therapies for children with ASD to help improve social skills, mental health, and overall quality of life. Additional services include skilled nursing, emotional support, family education, and fun recreational activities.
Children with ASD often feel alienated, depressed, and uncomfortable around other people. Through specialized techniques like occupational therapy, speech therapy, and physical therapy, we help patients develop the skills to form healthy relationships and grow more comfortable in social settings. We’re more than a pediatric facility – we are passionate about our cause and work hard to ensure the highest level of quality at all times.

PPEC & Non-Emergency Medical Transport for ASD Patients
We offer full-service medical transport for our patients to ensure that every child in need can attend our PPEC center! This includes transportation to and from home, doctor’s offices, school, medication pickup, and any of our designated checkpoints. Personal circumstances should never interfere with a child receiving the medical care they need; that’s why we go the extra mile to provide patients in need with a safe, comfortable ride to our facility.
Our PPEC center offers 12-hour medical day care 6 days a week from Monday through Saturday. We welcome patients ranging from birth to 21 years old – schedule an assessment to see if your child qualifies and discuss next steps to developing a personalized care plan. We look forward to meeting your child and creating a strategy to maximize social, mental, and physical health. Call our Melbourne PPEC, Lakeland PPEC, Orlando PPEC or Haines City PPEC to learn more!
